Dr. Rakesh Allahabadi was admitted to the California Bar in 2008. He is the valedictorian of his graduating class of over 130 students at the Concord Law School. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India, and M.S. and Ph.D. in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He has co-authored several papers in his engineering field of training.

He has over 25 years of experience in engineering and business software development, project/product/program management, and client management.

Dr. Allahabadi’s professional career began with ABB Impell Corporation a division of CE in 1987. During his 3-year tenure with Impell, Dr. Allahabadi gained valuable experience in quality assurance, project management and managed consulting projects worth over million dollars. He was also responsible for maintaining and enhancing in-house software products. For the next ten years, Dr. Allahabadi continued to develop his career and broaden his technology and business acumen at MSC Software, a premier leading firm in computer aided engineering. During this time he successfully enhanced MSC.NASTRAN the industry standard engineering analysis software for Aero and Auto industry. He managed remote site development teams in Taiwan and India and grew these teams from 2 to about 33 persons in 4-years. He also managed high performance distributed computing program funded by DARPA. To broaden his experience, Dr. Allahabadi moved to product management for MSC.NASTRAN. As a product manager he was involved in strategic planning, pricing, marketing and preparing sales material and directing the product launch for MSC.NASTRAN. He was the spokesperson for his product at various users’ conferences all around the world.

In 2000, Dr. Allahabadi joined OCR Services, Inc as director of business development, and worked up to VP of Product and Client Management. At OCR he has been involved in all the facets of business ranging from software development, customer support, business development, sales, marketing, operations, and strategic business plans.
