Brian Asquith

Brian Asquith earned a Bachelors of Engineering in Materials Science and Manufacture from Wolverhampton University, U.K., in 1991 (with Honours, 2:1). Brian has been registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office since Jan. 2010.

Brian has 20 years experience working as a research scientist in various material science disciplines for Dunlop Aviation, Courtaulds, T&N Technology, Alcan International, and Cookson Technology. In 1995, Brian emigrated to the United States to join Visi-Trak Corporation specializing in die casting technologies and process monitoring, including providing consulting services to Case Western Reserve University assisting with their metal casting research. While Brian handles a great variety of technologies, some of Brian's areas of experience include near net shape forming including die casting and squeeze casting technologies, development of novel aerospace alloys, development of process monitoring and control technologies, and various materials science and manufacturing related disciplines.

Brian has also worked for the Federal Reserve Bank as a technical writer for their online applications, trained members of the FBI in computer applications, and served in both the British Army and the Royal Air Force. Brian is also an accomplished artist with items in the collections of various corporate and private collections. Some of his work is presented in the Cleveland Museum of Art, Ohio and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Ohio.
