Sunil Colaco earned a B.A. (Hons) in Economics from Kingston University, Kingston upon Thames, England, in 1982. He earned his M.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, in 1987. Sunil was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2005.

He also earned a Bachelor of Law with honors from the University of London, England, in 1998; and a Masters in Law (LLM) with honors from Case Western Reserve University in 2002.
