Keith Drabek

Keith Drabek earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington in 1992 and a Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law in 2007. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is currently seeking admission to the Washington State Bar.

Before joining Amin, Turocy & Calvin, Keith gained experience in patent prosecution as a summer associate at Blakely, Sokoloff, Taylor, & Zafman. He also gained experience in copyright and licensing matters as an intellectual property extern at Corbis Corporation. During his first
year of law school, Keith received the CALI Award in Legal Writing, and worked as a research assistant to Professor Laurel Oates, Director of Seattle University's legal writing program.

Prior to pursuing a career in patent law, Keith worked as a design engineer in the semiconductor industry for eleven years. His extensive design experience includes designing embedded hardware and software; providing hardware and software design support as a factory application engineer; performing ASIC design, simulation and verification; and performing high-speed, low-voltage CMOS analog circuit design, layout, and simulation.
