Jake Preston Evans is a member of the Tennessee bar and a candidate for membership in the District of Columbia bar. Jake's practice focuses on patent drafting and general litigation.

Jake served in the Corps of Examiners at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria Virginia in 2006 and 2007. Jake served in Electrical and Mechanical work units including Electrical Microprocessors, Reissue, and Building Structures. As such, Jake is very well versed in cooperative prosecution strategies and efficient draftsmanship. Jake prepares patents for a wide range of technologies including mechanical, electrical, physics and software.

Prior to studying law Jake was an Automated Systems Project Manager and Manufacturing Engineer for General Motors.
