Gilbert Harmon, Jr.
Gilbert Harmon, Jr. was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2006 and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1984. He also earned a Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Intellectual Property from the University of Akron School of Law in 2006. Prior to practicing law, he has gained over twenty years of experience in software development through several employers. First, he gained experience as a Project Engineer, Applications Engineer and Manager of Professional Services with CENTEC Corporation focusing on industrial automation software. In collaboration with other employees and outside investors, he purchased the assets of CENTEC Corporation forming CAMM Solutions, Inc. as a principal and taking a Vice President of Development position and a seat on the Board of Directors. Next, He took a Project Manager position at General Electric focusing on development of the communications subsystem for a proprietary email product. Most recently, he held positions with Rockwell Automation as a Senior Software Engineer and Project Manager focusing on the development of Client-Server communication subsystems and kernel mode drivers supporting Rockwell’s proprietary communications hardware.
