William Munnerlyn
Will Munnerlyn received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2004. Will joined the firm in 2007. He has been preparing and prosecuting patent applications with an emphasis in the electrical, computer science, telecommunications and software arts. Will has drafted a significant number of patent applications relating to software systems, social networking, cloud computing, e-commerce, interactive media, on-line gaming, databases, wireless communications, mobile devices, semiconductors, integrated circuits, MEMS, automotive technologies, and industrial automation for Fortune 500 clients, and has successfully prosecuted hundreds of patent applications. He has substantial experience with prior art searching, non-infringement, and validity analyses, appeals, accelerated examination, and foreign prosecution. Prior to attending law school, Will gained engineering experience in research and development for a leading plastics manufacturer. Will graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2007. While at the University of Toledo, he drafted and argued appellate briefs as a member of the Intellectual Property Moot Court Team, was an extern at the Technology Transfer Office, a law clerk for a Northern Ohio based IP firm, and earned a certificate in Intellectual Property Law.
