David Noonan David Noonan practices in intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret law. Dave's practice is focused on patent portfolio development through preparing and procuring utility patent applications for a variety of Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, and startups. Dave also has experience in drafting patent and copyright infringement analyses and opinions, as well as patent validity studies. Though Dave has serviced clients in many industries, he currently practices primarily in telecommunications (including signal processing, multi-layer communications, handset, network topology and deployment, end-user applications, etc.), software (including software applications, development tools, web and multi-tier applications, APIs, etc.), and electronics patents. Dave was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2008 and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2006. Dave earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Computer Science in Dave is also a member of the Missouri Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. Prior to pursuing a career in intellectual property law, Dave was a Software Engineer for four years, most recently for Reuters.
