David Noonan
David Noonan practices in intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret law. Dave is registered as a patent attorney in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and primarily prepares and prosecutes utility patent applications for a variety of Fortune 500 companies as well as startups. Dave also has experience in preparing patent and copyright infringement analyses and opinions in addition to patent validity studies. Dave practices primarily in electronics, networks, software, and mechanics. Dave was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2008 and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2006. Dave earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Computer Science in 2001 from Truman State University and a Master of Science degree with a concentration in Computer Science from the University of Missouri, St. Louis in 2004. Dave also earned a Juris Doctorate from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2008, where he was the recipient of a Distinguished Scholar Award. Dave has four years of experience as a Software Engineer, most recently for Reuters. He joined the firm as a law clerk in 2005 and subsequently as an associate in 2008. |
