Evan Perry
Evan Perry practices in the area of intellectual property law including patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret law. Evan primarily focuses on patent application preparation and prosecution for a variety of Fortune 500 companies as well as startups. Evan has also experience in forward patenting initiatives, preparing patent infringement and validity opinions, and performing due diligence analyses. Evan primarily practices in electronics, software, networks, data communications and wireless technologies. Evan was admitted to the Ohio bar in 2007 and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Evan earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University in 2004 with a major in Computer Engineering. He also earned a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2007, where he was a recipient of a Distinguished Scholar Award. Evan gained prior software engineering experience at a variety of firms prior to pursuing a career in intellectual property law. He joined the firm in 2005 as a law clerk and subsequently as an associate in 2007. |
