Brian Steed earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1996.  Prior to his work in intellectual property, he spent several years as a project engineer at Martin Control Systems Inc., where he designed, programmed, and implemented industrial control and data collection systems for manufacturing and material handling facilities throughout Ohio.  Brian gained additional experience in his capacity as the SCADA Supervisor at American Municipal Power-Ohio, where he programmed and managed the company's state-wide SCADA system used to collect substation metering data and control peak generators throughout the state.

Brian has extensive experience with a wide range of PLC and HMI platforms, and is proficient in electrical design, Visual Basic programming, and network design.
