Marisa J. Zink practices in the area of intellectual property law. Specifically, her practice focuses on protection of intellectual property rights through the preparation and prosecution of patents, trademarks, and copyrights, both domestically and internationally. Her patent practice includes the fields of electrical engineering, software technologies, computer science, business methods, chemistry and biotechnology.

She was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2001, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in 1997, and a Juris Doctorate from University of Akron School of Law, cum laude, in 2001. Marisa was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit.

Professional memberships include the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Bar Association, the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association, and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
